Just in case ya'll haven't seen this before ... or lately, we might want to be singing this soon:

Oklahoma is changing the words to the State Song. It
now goes like this:

SNOW.......klahoma
Where the cold front's sweepin' down the plain
And the piles of sleet, beneath your feet
Follow right behind the freezing rain.

SNOW.......klahoma
Ev'ry night my honey lamb and I
Travel home from work and hope some jerk
Doesn't wreck our car in passing by!

We know we belong to the land
But it could use some more salt and more sand

That's why we say.....WHOA!
We're sliding the other way.......YIKES!

We're only sayin'
You're slick as snot SNOWklahoma
SNOWklahoma
SNOW-K-L-A-H-O-M-A

SNOWklahoma, SNOW-K!

Shavon on the Serama hen her top beak is in serious need of a trim. There is a clear part on the end that is too long, I usually use fingernail clippers to trim our birds back when needed. You will be able to see how far to trim it but stay just outside of the colored part of the beak.

The bottoms never need trimmed as the fit within the top beak keeps them worn down. If you would put a brick in with them after trimming she will keep it worn down.

I was wondering about that and planned to do some research tomorrow to figure it out. I never noticed it until I put the new boy in with her, but she was my first and only Serama. I wasn't sure if it was normal or not. Thanks.

If I'm gonna hatch out MFCs to help improve my lines, I'm definitely gonna have to get a growout pen or make one.
