If anyone gets themselves in a bind, and needs a helping hand today or tomorrow, call me. I'm off today. If you're in the Mustang area don't hesitate. Help can always be paid back at a later time. My car gets around great in bad weather. 580-650-9049 Jerry

I have been up since 5:00 am and it's been raining pretty hard on & off and it looks like a bunch of moisture is moving up from Tx.

Moisture is fine, as long as it remains liquid rather than frozen. It is still 35 degrees in OKC, a 20 degree drop from midnight.
I am up early to run the dishwasher one last time before I go to work and put on a crockpot of taco soup. Just put the last load of laundry in the dryer. Other than that, I think I am as ready as I am going to get.

When I went to feed last night, I saw where hubby put straw on the ground and a piece of plywood at an angle to form a lean-to shelter for the pheasants. They of course were roosting on top of their "house" next to the lean-to. He also added straw to the bottom of the shelter where the peacocks can take refuge from the storm if they choose not to roost on their regular landscape timber that is hung 4 foot off the ground. He really is a great guy.

I am pretty prepared and have everything I need to get through it, I worry about some of the folks who live close by cause I know they think a couple of scented candles will be plenty enough planning LOL, they always come knocking on the door and we help them out. LOL I think their planning for the bad weather is to just go to AL's house LOL.
