Oh everyone doesn't have a small animal club? See I still don't very much. I did get signed up to help at a rabit show.....something a quad show??

no poultry and bees i have had a thing for elephants since i was a child and to watch them is awsome. but i like my small animals i just always wanted to own a elephant to ride on through town because i could.....lol who is gonna stop a elephant seriously... it would take a fire truck to get me down.

I will send both of your warm wishes! I miss them too, haven't seen them since we met up here in town. I was planning to go on a weekend but this will have to do! I'm gonna go as soon as I get the kiddo's from school.

I don't know enough about the rabit end but it is just for rabits & they really work hard for it. It supports our club so I will be there with bells on, okay maybe not bells. I don't remember the initals.....something like an ABA show but rabits.

I hear that he will do more than just travel for birds!! I heard that he will dress up like a girl and like it and perform in front of crowds of people!!

that is the problem with being addicted to acquiring poultry. folks who are addicted will do strange things for poultry.

So who is going to Blanchard auction???
pop.gif
Ok just so everyone knows I am looking for millie fleur d'uccle trio or quad. Also looking for more sultans, preferrably black, I need a rooster. Also looking for black, white or blue ameraucana rooster. Humm lets see also need some dark brahmas, bantams. So far so good. All my birds are doing fine even with the cold weather. Of course most of them will not set foot outside the coop (lazy bums) I am really glad. Need to get the other coop put together. Going to paint it to match the other coop.

Teach and Quenston are either of you planning on going to the Blanchard auction? They have mighty fine nachos!!!

Quenston I forgot to ask where did you get the salmon favorelles I bought from you? I love them so much. The rooster is so sweet and really loves his girls. The hens are really nice as well. Of course the rooster is named Blackbeard, the two hens are named Mary Reed and Anne Bonny (both female pirates). Yes I am going with a pirate theme for the favorelles.

Decided to wait til the end of the week to order chicks from Ideal. I still have not decided exactly what I want to order. So if someone still wants to piggyback onto my order, let me know. I am having delivery set for the first part of March. That gives me time to get the chicks I have into the grow-out pen.

Well everyone need to get a bit of business done on line then it is off to bed. Have a great evening everyone!

Maybe you could just rent one for a few days. I think that feeding an elephant for a week would cost as much as it costs to feed all my critters (and I have plenty) for several months. I wonder if Elephants will eat Bermuda grass?

hey i do have a quick question concerning my dog. i got this dog from a dog adoption rescue, and the girl told me he was good with livestock and other animals, now he done killed 4 of my birds now he is a really good dog and he is an old timer, he wont eat them he was just killling them and stacking them up. he is a lab great perinyse mix. how do you keep them from attacking your birds. my heeler doesnt bother them at all. he is more focused on the goats, keeping them in line and in the yard wich he does a fine job, but this rescue dog is making me mad. he was cool with them for about a week then yesterday he decide to start snatching them out of the barn, is there a way to get him to stop or should i just get rid of him
