So I contacted Lynne at Windshadows Hacienda (she's on BYC, I think as wwmicasa but I might be wrong) and arranged to purchase two pullets from her. Next... acquiring golden neck d'uccles... might have to arrange a recon of Okie-doodle's place out in TN...

But I can at least do recon, take photos, figure out the best night time approach, get in friendly witht he natives. You know, all the boring stuff.

Good morning all. I got the kids off to school and DH is sleeping in. He has to be up by 8:30 to get to town on time. I am seriously thinking of crawling back in bed, but I know if I do, I won't wanna get back up.

There is another layer of cold, wet, white stuff on everything. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I don't like it. The county just finally cleared the roads in our little town yesterday.
