Of course I'm addicted...

I got a mille fleur cochin project cockerel from OKCarla, and he needs his own "harem". So I contacted Lynne at Windshadows Hacienda (she's on BYC, I think as wwmicasa but I might be wrong) and arranged to purchase two pullets from her. She's in CA though, so it's WAY cheaper to ship when the weather is warmer than it is for me to drive to pick them up.

Next... acquiring golden neck d'uccles... might have to arrange a recon of Okie-doodle's place out in TN...

What's the job pay? I'm headed out there next week!

Well, if you're flying, I don't think you can bring them on the plane...

Do you know what kind of duck you want it to grow up to be? A yellow duck will likely turn white when it loses its feathers so you are going to have a black and white duck when it is grown. Have you seen a picture of what you want so we can figure out the breed?

Good morning all. I got the kids off to school and DH is sleeping in. He has to be up by 8:30 to get to town on time. I am seriously thinking of crawling back in bed, but I know if I do, I won't wanna get back up.

There is another layer of cold, wet, white stuff on everything. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I don't like it. The county just finally cleared the roads in our little town yesterday.

I was on my way out the door to drop kids off at their respective before school care places (J's son goes to school in Choctaw, my daughter goes to Mid-Del). Now I'm slogging through what I did yesterday to get all the confirmation numbers I need before I can start on the 30 that I rolled over to today.

Bring on the coffee IV.

Are y'all gonna have to call somebody and have the lines re-hung, or will they do it for you? I remember in 2007 when I had a downed line in my back yard, I had to call an electrician to come certify my box before they'd re-hang the line.
