Yeah, but I don't see any point in pushing it. A few minutes with a nail file will do the same thing and doesn't carry an EPA warning label. When I was younger, I never paid attention to that stuff either. The last 20 years of dealing with the results of agent orange have taught me otherwise. If you don't have to, it's just not worth the risk.

BYC okie friends....I have gotten all the information concerning clothing sizes for BigOkie's family. His chickens are fine...he brought me some eggs to hatch since he doesn't have his anymore. BigOkie won't need any shirts for a long time.....my son-in-law sent him about 50 good shirts,coat, etc.

I know we're not supposed to solicit on here and even though that's not what we're really doing it falls under those guidelines and we certainly want to abide by the rules. So if someone can tell me how to send an email or pm out to all I will get it done. I have no idea how to contact us all.

Hope everyone is having a great day. I've got silkies and show girls hatched out. Also, hatched 17 pekin ducks out over the weekend. They are so cute. I stuck my face down at them when they were in the hatcher basket and quacked at them....they thought I was mama and tried to peck at my nose and just kept quacking back at me. I wish they stayed that cute. Although, I love them when they are grown. Anyone need and ducks. I have about 15 grown to get rid of and these babies. I am going to put them on craigslist if not.

Well just put the steaks to marinate. My uncle owns some angus and limousine out in Wynnewood. So I got a freezer of fresh hog and of fresh beef. Just so you know Monday and Sat are steak nights, sometimes even with shrimp. Tonight will be ribeyes, mushrooms, baked tators, asparagus, bernaise sauce and rolls and corn or green beans for the picky Matthew.

I can understand you liking the look of the White Ameraucana, but all you have to do to get Splash is breed a Blue rooster to your Blue hen. See, here's a chart on how the blue genetics work:

Blue X Blue = 50% Blue . 25% Black , 25% Splash
Blue X Splash = 50% Blue , 50% Splash
Blue X Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
Black X Black = 100% Black
Splash X Black = 100% Blue
Splash X Splash = 100% Splash

Thanks for the chart. I was wondering if the white x blue or black would come out splash. I still like the white ones though. I guess I need to get a blue rooster also.

Hey, y'all.........I have been asked "what I posted here
and then edited out".......... NO...I DIDN'T GET ON A
SOAPBOX OR ANYTHING OVER HERE !!! I posted our
vote earlier and that's the only vote we get.

I had been on our forum earlier and then came over
here to check the votes. My intentions were to
post "Congratulations" to Corey and Liz over their
show results and messed around and forgot which
site I was on.....LOL So, I deleted my post over
here and doubled back and posted it on our
forum.

So, get your votes in. Our organization isn't for
a select few. It's for all of us and the majority
rules....as it should.
