Good to see you, Pepper! When the list of all the Okies was posted the other day, I saw your name and wondered where you have been.

I am here but just lurking most of the time.

Morning everyone...can someone tell me what auction there is next weekend that everyone might go to? I don't keep track of them because we live so far away and don't get to go. However, we are planning on being in the city next weekend and would LOVE to get to see everyone.

Today is our 25th wedding celebration. Our kids are putting on a gig for us...kind of skeered...LOL

They posted on Facebook that they wanted everyone to come prepared to "roast" us with something funny, etc. I have too many onery things they could get me with and I told them I wasn't going to show up.

Anyway, please let me know about the auctions. Have a Blessed Day.

Thanks,

Donna

It would be easy to put this rooster with a dozen productive light Sussex hens that could lay over 2,000 eggs a year.

Yes but then you have broken the line to the parent stock and will be fighting color issues for years to come. Outcrosses are sometimes needed in breeding but it is best to use birds of the same variety if you can.

If trying to conserve a very rare variety like the Corination one should stick to breeding proven lines.

Good morning

Would love to make Blanchard but not sure if thats going to happen...we have our hired hand possibly coming over today to work and Jason has gone to Wichita Falls to buy this truck they let him bring home last night (he did have to leave the Harley bike there in exchange to make sure he brings the truck back after his over night test drive) so I think 3 bantam chicks wont be that obvious compared to a Bright Red 4 Door Cummins Diesel that may soon be parked at our house... you can bet there was some making up to do on his part cause I was getting alot of this

and I was doing this

Anyone know when they do the selling of the livestock? Those bottle baby calves have grabbed my attention....

Morning Folks!
Been lurking around the board for the last few days but things have been so hectic and
sickbyc.gif
I just have not posted. As much as I would like to go I am probably going to pass on Blanchard tonight. Have house cleaning to get done, packing for the trip and just need to take it easy for the day.

Need to head into Norman to buy a fancy dress

for the trip. I had an outfit I wanted to wear but can not find it in storage
barnie.gif
so I am going to brave the mall. If you all do not hear from me in a day or so, call a search party and notify my next of kin.

Anyway I need to get my lazy booty going. Everyone have a nice day and enjoy the sunshine today!

Oh I almost forgot Atwoods in Norman has NN and some cute fuzzy legged bantams.

Hi-jacking Peaches login for the minutes while she pours me another cup of java.

Stimp,

I was stirring the pot yesterday and you was in it along with Sooner P&B and Al. Something about smoking the Cheech and Chong van.

P&B defended herself with jars of honey and a cage. Not much defense.
