Chuck tell John I am sending a hug his way & you are both in my prayers.

Good Morning P&B! I saw you got some cinnamon queens, remind me what those are again???

I just got my hubby to tell me that I need "a few more for my laying flock" heeheee. If only he new.

As I told the gentleman who also bought 20 of the cinnamon queens, the hens lay a lovely large brown egg. The roosters, which apparently we both have about 18 of, eat a lot of feed and eventually crow.

TJ's NaNa and Bill raise Cinnamon queens and I got eggs from them last June that were a cinnamon queen and Americauna cross. The eggs were a very nice large egg. Many of the chicks that I took to the Fall POOPS were from that hatch.

Good Morning MaryBeth, you appear to be the only one here. I am glad I can still type considering my throat is all messed up this morning, I think it is from riding the motorcycle in the cold and the smoke inhalation from burning brush in the backyard.

Thanks P&B I remember now.

Hiya Jason, I am here just getting ready for church. Hope you get to feeling better but I'm sure it was riding at night. LOL. Glad you guys are having a nice weekend to get alot done.

I am still fooling with the second bator trying to get it to stablize, going to fix that when we get home, told hubby that I had to hurry up & get it done, he said "why have you had the eggs too long?" I told him no that I would have more eggs to add to it. He didn't think that was funny.

Good morning Okies..... We didnt leave the Blanchard auction til around 11pm last night and it still wasnt over..... Almost over but not quite. Got to see P&B, Gerald, Faerie and J, Buster, Micheal D, Doc and Renai..... Im sure there is somebody I am missing. We also went to the Newcastle show and got to visit with Dandelion. Had a good time but was exhausted when the day was over.

I am needing help from my fellow Okies!!

I am doing a poultry workshop on March the 10th for the 4th graders in Ottawa County. Kids, Kows and more.
I have a few eggs that I have collected but I am needing a few more. I would pay shipping or come and pick them up.
I am wanting to show them the different eggs that poultry have.
My wish list:
Turkey
Goose
Anything fun colored, marans, EE's
Ok just any unusual looking eggs

I have quail eggs from teach that I got from our first POOPS, that have dried out nice.

Quenston, Do you still have your Brahmas? I would also like to talk about the different comb types. Could I use one for the day? Do you have anything else with a different comb?
I have mostly single combs. I have a pair of bantam black rosecombs but that is it.

I have chicks hatching that day do they will get to see that hopefully!

Thank you!! thank you!!

Neecy, I can get a couple of Goose eggs from my dad, I still have my Brahmas and would be glad to bring one of each as far as rooster and hen if you need me to, also got a Silkie Roo that I could loan as well. I will start looking for funky eggs when I am gathering, will you need any help on the 10th? We will be there so let me know and I would be glad to help!!

Good Morning Okies! Had a great time visiting with all of the folks that made the Blanchard auction last night.

I finally got some guineas to go with my single hen so she won't feel so lonely.

Yep, Peaches bought out the egg market last night. NINE dozen cochin eggs and 1 silkie batch too.

Hope everyone has a great day. Got a lot of work to do.

Doc
