Call the local shelters and surrounding vet offices to let them know of the missing dog so they can keep tabs on what comes in...

Thanks! I did that on Monday morning, first thing! She has been seen, I'm afraid with her being stolen, then someone else picking her up that she may decide to cut through the woods and we'll never find her! I'm just going to keep driving around out there and stopping every little bit. Hopefully she'll hear me and find her way.

So sorry she's gone, Shelly - I hope you find her!

I'm stuck inside today. At least, I have some work things I need to accomplish, but I keep going outside to check on my chickens and to go into the garage to look at those chicks I shouldn't have bought.

You know that line from Folsom Prison Blues where Johnny Cash sings "I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die"? I am singing "I got some chicks at Atwoods, just to watch them grow."

Say what? GFM???

I am still sucking coffee wondering what is up with my body? Is it revolting? I have felt like crap for two days!

Off to do some reserch!

Oh I want you late nighter to know that I am getting old & can't stay up that late to chat, you could come on earlier! LOL!

Yeah, sorry I don't normally get home from class until around 11pm sometimes 11:30, then getting situated once I do get home takes a bit before I can get on. Plus I am more of a night owl than an early bird. I don't eat worms, so I guess that is alright.

It is a beautiful day again! I am going to be outdoors most of today doing gardening. I think I will go and get some manure for the garden. And possibly pick up some more bales of straw for the coop.

So I am thinking of ordering some chicks from Ideal. Even though I have three brooders going with chicks in them. I am thinking I really need some self-blue Cochins and silkies and some mottled cochins. Unless somebody already has some and I can buy them from them. Does anybody else want to get in on an order?

I'm out of room for chicks right now... have to grow out the ones I have, and have 5 more coming in a month or so. I decided when I hopped in on someone else's order last time that I'm done buying babies

For now, anyway!

Hey Quenston - or anybody else........ The Pryor Show
is just east of downtown Pryor on """ old"""" highway
20. I have been away from Pryor for soooo long,
I'm not sure how to get on old 20 anymore from
downtown. I believe the Main Street in town is
called Graham. Turn east, but as I recall, it turns
into the new 4-lane that goes to Salina. If you
end up on the 4-lane, you're about 1/2 mile
south of the old highway. ASAP turn north for
the 1/2 mile.

The Fairgrounds is approximately 2 miles east
of Hwy 69 on "old" Hwy 20, or about 1 mile
east of the Pryor Hospital. So, if you've gone
more than a couple of miles east on the 4-lane,
you'd need to turn back west when you hit
the old highway. You'll see the rodeo grounds
and a large blond brick building. The show will
be in a large metal building behind the brick
building.

Hope this is clearer than it sounds to me when
I just reread it..........

Have a good one !

Hello All Okies,

It took 1/2 hour to catch up on the posts from when I was last on.

Hope all are doing well.

Sooner, congrats on the GFM.

Ms Barnswallow, I will do my best not to write anything offensive today.

Stimp, it is only hate mail if you receive it, otherwise it is "Constructive Critisism."
