Okies in the BYC The Original

Went to class, went to lab, missed all the fun stuff... at least class was mostly worth it tonight. Test review, test on Thursday over cellular respiration (and the rest of the bio stuff that goes along with that...

) eating dinner while J is doing his military plt sgt stuff (phone calls, helping them enroll in the right MCIs, etc). Might knit a couple rows before I crash.

Broody pullet is still broody. I really need to pluck on Thurs/Friday evening and get that taken care of so I'll have fertile eggs in time.

Right about now is where I cry for the 'bator that will never be.

I might be able to buy a styrofoam bator with my bonus check though... it's not a cabinet incubator, but it'll be better than nothing (hopefully!).

This will be the first chicks out of my standard white Cornish that I have been able to incubate, so I really have my fingers crossed on them. the parent stock of Cornish I have are Brutes LOL even the hens have a look that could turn you to stone hehehe.

Ok so don't hold this against me but I have been thinking about getting one of those big pretty talking Parrots, the ones that have those big cool cages in the corner of the room. I want to teach it to be as ornry as me, like if the door bell rings the parrot can say ( who the H3ll is it ) stuff like that, I would have a ball teaching it my version of the colorful english language hehehehehe.
