IT's still rain'n out ...I talk to a guy that said they wer going to start a bird sale in Lindsey on Tues nite's. An a sale at Newcas on May1st ....One thing for sure if you have to pay rent you wont make it for long. Ther is no Money in thim sale's by the time you pay your help an Auctioner Most of the folk's Just do it for the fun of it..
An the [ lov ] of bird's Jerry an Jim sold junk to try an make extra cash. An people got upset. I like Jerry an Jim they would do anything to help a BYC'er but i dont like the junk .
Jerry said thing's will be diff from now on..To keep thing's chicken's.
I wish all the new sale's the best of luck...

edited to add: I wouldn't get in a hurry for eggs. I had a standard Shamo that didn't start laying until she was a year old. They are slow to mature.

Morning All,

Woke up some time ago and dreaded looking out to see if it is still raining. Just as I suspected, it is.
Our house is high upon a knoll and the rain is still puddling in the yard. It looks as if it might quit sometime later today.

Mornin all : The night ended well without any drama they were home on time and safe. I think the kid is Ok we will see.
The week has been crazy so I really plan to just be lazy today for a change.

Oh by the way I forgot to tell Ya'll we got a new addition to the family, I finnally caved in after years of these two badgering me about it, we got a new PUPPY............ she is a Female toy Chia........... taco bell dog. very tiny and cute, smart little buggar too. Her name is Tilly and she is 10 wks old we have had her for 2 wks now.

I happy for you that all went well with your daughter at Prom. You too Carah with your son.

I remember all too well how scarry those evenings are until they get home. Now that it is over I'll tell you that the statistics are that more girls get pregnant on Prom night than any other night of the year for that age group.

That would have been aweful to know before now. LOL

Gotta go finish getting ready for church...we were naughty and skipped sunday school. Everyone have a great day...even thought it's kind of yucky out.

Al, I'm glad everything worked out OK with the daughter and boy last night.
I wasn't looking forward to that long drive to visit you at McAlester. I would have
done it but that is a long drive. It is over now and you can let your nerves get back to normal.
But look at the bright side, your shotgun is rady for whatever you want to hunt. LOL

Carah, glad it worked well for your son too.

POOPS isn't far off now. I have a ton of stuff to finish up before it happens.
Chicken show boxes, chicken tractors, baking cakes and such.

A couple of days ago someone was asking for a barred rock bantam rooster. Let me know
who wants it, I have one and it will be FREE. He is good looking but doesn't fit in here.

Durn Carla I wish that I knew you were in the market for peas. At the Prague auction there were about 10 or so adults going from 40 each for the blues up to 110 for the whites.
