Food listing for POOPS 2010:

Hi everyone as you know P.O.O.P.S will be May 1st . There will be one meal this year. Most of the meat (thanks to our P.O.O.P.S fund from the fall) will be taken care of so we will be looking mainly for side dishes, deserts, casseroles, paper products, cutlery & drinks.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in, chicken & dumplings were a big hit along with that banana pudding. Keep in mind the number of people (aprox. 100) that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

If you volunteer to bring drinks, paper products or cutlery please tell me the quantity you will bring, also the drinks will need to be on ice. I will also need 2 of the large drink coolers to make kool -aid & tea.

I will need volunteers to help with setting up the meal & cleaning up after.

Please PM me with Food in the subject line with what you plan to bring.

I will keep a running list to post from time to time.

Morning everyone ! Made the rounds and check on all the birds this morning. All seem contened. Cloudy with sprinkles this morning so I guess I'll stay inside and quilt and do laundry.

Today is our Granddaughters 13th Birthday! Seems like she has been a teenager for a couple of years now but its finally official! She was my shadow for 11 years,then cell phones and boys and sports came along. She does volleyball,basketball,and soccer. I had her trained to tell the difference between roos and hens when she three!Wish they would always stay little,its so much easier to impress them!lol.

I sent City some pics to post for me,one is of Madison and the other is of Izzy(short for Isabella) my new taco dog. Hey Al bet my taco can whip your Taco!lol.Don't know about yours but mine is ornery!

For everyone in the Pryor area that would like an evening of uplifting music the Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma will be in concert at the First Baptist Church of Pryor this Thursday evening April 22 at 7:00PM. The concerts usually last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. There will be around 200 men singing. It is an evening you will not forget. If you get to come look me up. I will be in a black tux.

I didn't know you sang with them.

I have some friends in that group. Is the whole group singing or just one of the groups?
We have had them at our church before plus the women's group too. It is a great performance.
Are you ever in the group that sings around OKC?​

Hatching experts (If I was one I wouldn't be asking) Looks like I have about 115 chicks hatch out of 185 eggs.
Two questions.
1) Most of the ones that hatched started almost two days early and were done early on the 21st day (hatch day.)
The stragglers have been few and far between. Why is thsi?

2) Some died after completely hatching out. Why!

There are still a few eggs pipping but I don't have a lot of hope for them.

Yes, I sing in the group. I sing Baritone.
Monte the full men's group will be singing (usually around 200-250 men) as well as the hand bells and our men's orchestra. The hand bells play pre-concert music usually starting around 6:30pm and the orchestra plays a few numbers before the concert and then with the choir during the concert.
