May I ask, "What type of cage is needed for selling @ POOPS and does the cage get sold with the bird(s)?"?
(Is a crate okay?)

I have never been to POOPS and my hubby and I are trying to make sure we have everything in order before we catch the Geese.
Haha - catching Geese is not fun... let alone having to move them from one cage to another.

You can use any cage you want. The cage does not sell with the bird unless you want it to. I don't know what you mean by crate but it would be best if you can see the geese in the cage/crate when they are being bid on.

Donna it will be fun!

Add that the cage is sold I did call.....
I also will bring a heat light or two. Maybe
some drop cords and power sup things....
I may have some nice long ones still...

talk about a sugar high! What are you going to eat to let your system down gradually so you don't crash?

Who is going to crash? I'm just going to eat another PECAN PIE. That angel is going to hate me.

Sooner - you might want to make a note to place the Pecan Pie in the very last spot on the dessert table in the buffet line at POOPS - that way when Doc stops there to eat the entire thing out of the pie pan it won't back the whole line up.

Stinky - I have some cardboard boxes that I've cut a hole in the top (or side) and duct taped plastic netting over for the chickens I'm bringing to POOPS. They are tremendously ugly and very temporary, but they'll do the job (I hope!).

CityClucks... I too have done the cardboard and duct tape thing (especially when I have gone to the swap meet or the flea market). I am one of those people that go for one thing and end up coming home with a new chicken or duck.

I'm afraid of doing that with the Geese; it could get ugly.

Yo Kevin - it's going good. How's the weather in NV?

Hot and windy, but at least not the 100 MPH that they got in northern NV yesterday. What's it like there, any rain between now and Saturday? I shipped out my hatching eggs to Al for POOPS the other day, are you buying?
