Good afternoon all. I am patiently waiting for quitting time. I am so bored right now. I get to go home in an hour. Actually I get to go babysit and remodel in an hour. At least I will be doing something other than staring at nothing. How is everyone coping today? I started building some mini-cages to carry the chicks in. I have the frame of one done, just need to add the wire.

okiegirl - That wire would completely finish my pens. Do you have any idea of what you want for it?

Roy - Would you be the "hot" one as in sweating or the "hot" one as in a cute little dress?

I don't have any that age. All I have are babies. I'm trying to build up my numbers of RIR. I also have Silkies and Seramas, but I just have a couple of pairs of Silkies and one pair of Seramas. I will not be getting rid of the Seramas. They are my babies.

I have been given the permission to get rid of all the guineas, if any one is interested. I may also sneak the Frizzled Cochin baby out of the coop. DH said he wants to keep it, but it doesn't fit in any of my breeding groups.

I just may get Lauren to ask you!! She had a blast in September and still remembers the sight of you in a dress. She is gonna love it when we go back in a couple of days and just might be expecting a little drag action. I still haven't told her about this weekend. As soon as she finds out, she will be impossible to deal with!

No rest for this busy soul, was up at 3:30 am trying to pick up the house and had laundry going I did manage to sleep a lil bit more and then when I actually got up got up this morning I moved the big desk and 2 filing cabinets outta the Keeping Room into the dining room so the Keeping Room is more free and clear to bring in the sheet rock. Hopefully Jason and I can put some up tonight?

We sure do appreciate everything Ya'll been doing by coming over and helping us that for sure.... and Yes the visiting is fun too ha ha.

I was going to ask if they would try and eat baby chicks....
If you really really really really want one I may try and find
him for you one time. Last summer we had one in a jar to
keep away from the big chicks. Hate spiders but at that size
it would have been nasty to watch a chicken eat him.
