I have one set of the quail egg bars for my Hovabator turner - right now I have one bar braced inside the turning tray on the sportsman, with button quail eggs in the egg slots and one quail sized bar in the Hovabator, with 5 egg holder bars for chicken eggs.

A little southern engineering there, eh?

One of the Hovabator turners got twisted when I stored it and the ends of the egg cups broke on several of the bars. Rather than toss the frame since the turner motor still works, I use part chicken sized egg cups and part quail sized egg cups with that turner. Lets me use the "Teach method" of incubating. When the quail hatch, it is time to move the chicken eggs to the hatcher.

Have any of the eggs started to develop? (are they starting to develop and then quitting?) Have you checked them to see if there is a bullseye look to the white dot on the egg yolk? If they are starting to develp and quitting, it could be a nutrition issue of the hens or an incubator issue. If you are putting then into chicken egg sized cups without any padding, they may be rattling around too much in the turner and getting "scrambled" inside.

the first batch i individually turned which was a pain lol this batch i used in a chicken turner with padding tho , and both sets i cracked open and nothing , but they are shipped eggs as well so idk could be the shipping i guess

Shipped eggs are always a roll of the dice - be sure you allow them to "settle" for 24 hours after they arrive, before putting then into the incubator. That is one reason I asked if there was a bullseye appearance around the white spot on the egg - if there is no bullseye - they may not be fertile to begin with and nothing you can do will make them hatch.

I agree that the picture looks very similar to my yellow Hovabator turners. I hadn't seen a Little Giant turner that looks like that.

I have an lg turner (reg chick egg) in my hovabator.

ETA: mine is the older version with the rubber prongs that stick up and hold eggs in.
It fit just right in the LG and is smaller then inside of hovabator.
