Steph,

You guys left early last night. Every sale we've had at Chichasha has had a chainsaw, last night was the first time we didn't. Go figure.

Hope Carl is happy with the motorized goat.

The secret to car shopping with your wife is to let the salesperson know that you are shopping for your wife and SHE is the one who has to be happy with the vehicle. Don't roll your eyes with the salesperson when she asks about the availability of her favorite color of vehicle before she inquires about features. Let HER be the one to test drive the vehicle and make certain the salesperson talks directly to her about how it handles. Never mind that you would prefer a XYZ kind of vehicle if she has decided she wants an ABC kind of vehicle. This is the vehicle she will be driving and if you talk to the salesperson as if she isn't there - plan on cooking your own supper.

It took my hubby a few vehicles to "get it" and the first 3 vehicles he bought for me to drive after we were married, he just brought home and announced "here it is"

He did much better on my last two vehicles - told the salesperson that it really didn't matter whether HE liked the vehicle - I was the one who was going to drive it so they had better talk to me.

We have been blowin and goin all week, we are exhausted otherwise we might have stayed longer.

I get to use it today. Carl will be mowing and I will be knocking down tall grass, the weed eating around the outside of the house. We havent had a chance to mow yet this year and the grass is really tall (or should I say the weeds are really tall). The lawnmower had a few problems that needed to be fixed and Carls arm hurt too bad to do it. I finally said one of us is going to have to fix it or Im going to have to pay someone to mow the lawn. So it got fixed yesterday.

Steph -
Seeing you on here this morning and in light of some conversations on the thread yesterday - did you ever find out whether the blue laced red wyandotte eggs that were sold at Blanchard more than a week after the rooster died - hatched?

We take my stepdad with us in my family, he is an ex car salesman. But i dont mind car shopping on my own. I know enough to make sure the car is mechanically sound and car salesman hate dealing with me because I will get the price i want.

NO, NO, NO,,,,,,, It ain't Peaches for the reason I hate shopping for cars/trucks...... it's the salemen. Peaches can talk circles around them. ALL used car salesmen are thieves and liars.

Heck, the saleman we had sold us a vehicle as a 2WD, it is 4WD and he didn't realize it at all. Peaches can hold her own with any salesman. She will scare the pants off most of them.

They did hatch,.... however, the guy that hatched them said they look like a cross between a Welsummer and a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte. He said he was going to give them some growing time and see how they turn out. Which would make since, the guy that sold the eggs has Welsummers and he moved that hen in their pen after the rooster died.

The guy that bought the eggs made us some trays for under our older chick brooders and he didnt want any money, so we gave him some BLRW chicks for trade. So he should know what the chicks should look like and will look like.
