The first thing I would do is mark the eggs under the broody and check every evening to see if others have laid any eggs with her.

Other posssibilites are snakes, an egg eating hen, (maybe the broody is an eater) a hidden nest somewhere? Or they may have just taken a break.

I have two big blue hens that I have been wanting to despartely get some chicks out of but they won't lay at all. I have them in a separate pen now so I can monitor them and give them treats and lots of TLC but they still won't lay. I am stumped on that too.

I know this may sound crazy but give them a cup of rabbit pellets everyday.

When we gave our hens rabbit pellets, they started laying like crazy.
They ate them as well as any treat we gave them.

Do you mean the before kind or the AFTER kind?

But this is what might happen if you hatch those rabbit pellet eggs...

The bag at Atwoods kind.

If you have geese, they will clean up the 'after' kind.

If you have Goats, the geese that will free range, they will clean up after them too!

I'm still lurking here cuban, we went to Mo yesterday and bought 14 class A and B serama hens, 3 class B roosters, and a handlful of babies. So excited we're finally getting the serama flock built up some

Hope everyone has a good day.
