And I thought my 20 something eggs in the incubator was alot. Sounds like you are running a daycare! What kinds are the colored ones? Do you have pictures?

Grace, looking forward to the duckling pictures! My chicks got moved outside today, so the duck has a big box. I bought a (cheap) plastic cake pan lid to put under his water He plays in it, even though its a waterer, and his beak is all that fits in it. *ha*

Okiechick, are you still wanting a bantam rooster???

I hate it, but... last night we realized that... Clark is allergic to birds!

He started having bad allergy problems when the chicks started feathering out real well. They are outside tonight, and they look so tiny in all the tall grass in their pen!

I checked on them earlier though, and they seem just fine.

We finally picked a wedding date: 06-07-08 I'm hoping Clark will remember it, but he was saying June 6th today, so who knows.

HA! Well, he did say that if I ever had to get rid of the chickens, he would get rid of his cattle. And he let the duck stay inside still, so I'm not too worried. *haha*

So, were is the harrah auction? Is it far from Tulsa? I think it sounds like to go to an auction(it's been so long since I have been to any auctions).

Does Tulsa area ever have any poultry auction or shows?

Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi!!! I am so glad to meet someone else from my area

There is a poultry auction in Blue on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 P.M.
Oh, also, if you happen to have any kids between the ages of 9 and 19, I teach the 4-H Poultry Club for our county. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 in the Community Building (on the fair grounds).

There are several auctions near Tulsa. The biggest (so I am told) is the Chupps auction near Inola.

The Harrah auction is about 20 miles east of Oklahoma City.

Okie I plan to go. I don't think I am being too high. The last time I was at Harrah, big laying hens brought almost $15 each. Most brought at least $10.
They are $12 to $15 at the flea market.
I plan on taking some of mine and see what they do.

We are in between Lexington and Asher. We are so excited to be here! We can't wait for April 5th for the Cement auction! Can you give me more info on the Harrah meet? time, location, etc. Also I am looking for info on what kind of incubator to get or if anyone has one in good working order that they would like to sell.
Well I hope to get the chance to meet lots of new friends here!
Looking forward to the big get together Chickstock!
I am disabled and home when I am not at the doctor or hospital, so please drop me a line sometime! I spend most f my time researching info on my feathered kids and the rest of it watching them (which I can do for hours on end). I just got 28 baby guineas and am now down to 15
