Wayne, Wayne, Wayne! Let me add to my list of "be carefuls" for you:
1. Be careful to take care of your heart and don't do anything too strenuous.
2. Be careful in this muggy heat - you can easily suffer from heat frustration.
3. Don't get struck by lightning!
I'm glad you're okay - and thanks for the reminder about chopping stuff up for the chickens - I am trying to stay ahead of my cucumbers - going to pick a few more tomorrow and start making pickles... My mom out in the Panhandle has requested that I bring tomatoes this coming weekend. My plants are full of big fruits that are taking SO LONG to start turning, so I picked a bunch of green tomatoes yesterday and brought them in to see if they would turn faster...probably a dumb thing to do, but it's an experiment. Last year right before the first freeze some kind person on here reminded me that I could pick all the green tomatoes still on the vines and bring them in so the cold wouldn't get them. (Thanks to whoever that was...
