Such a nice day today. Hope it holds through the weekend and everyone has a happy 4th. The girls were out playing with some of the chicks and I snapped a few pics. I've got the worst memory, but whoever had the army truck at POOPs, the silkie chick I picked up is one of my girls' favs that they truck around in their wagon.

Managed a sneak shot of our errant Sumatra from the swap too.

Well I knew I had a few too many chickens, but I didn't realize how it looked to an outsider until a lady came to buy a couple chicks today and her daughter took one look around and said, "I like this farm!"

TY, Grace! I thought it might be, but I wasn't sure. Saw someone was looking for eggs and since I'd just taken some pics, I wanted to show how nicely our brooder buddy from Carla was coming along. Pic is washed out on my screen though. Nice black with good feet and feathering. About what 5wks old?
