Oh wow thank you poultry I am sitting here now trying to figure out how I am gonna replace all my house windows and car window The land lord said an insurance adjuster came out looked at the house and said there wasn't no damage well I have been here every day since the storm. and never saw anyone come and there is the whole west side broken out tons of debree damage lost flock feed ruined. That tells me theres no insurance on this old house perhaps I can get a small loan to repair while the land lord slams another 12 pack.

I don't get how the man said he was mean this bird is so sweet and Docile its crazy he fell asleep right in my arms when I picked him up. (Till Vickie the state vet ripped a few feathers out and stuck him) He is like a Monster compaired to any bird on my yard LOL Named him jolly red "Giant"

I went by the hospital this evening and visited with Lou, Stimp's wife. Stimp is in SICU and Lou thanks everyone for their continued prayers on behalf of Stimp. He is sedated to keep him comfortable and has an uphill battle for restored health over the next few weeks. He is fighting several infections and is being weaned from the respirator they put him on during the last surgery. Lou is a woman of great faith and she requested that everyone continue to keep Stimp in their prayers.

Thanks P&B for the update. My wife and I were just talking about Stimp! Perforated bowel is not an easy thing to get over.Our prayers are headed his way via Heaven!

Nother hot one here today and now we have a storm moving in.

The young bird flock is doing pretty good,by that I mean eating me out of house an home!lol. Seem to have a good crop of OEGB roos and NN bantam roos! The OEGBs are a fun project,doing the no-no and letting colors cross! Around here it doesn't matter as long as they look OEGB and are paired up. People will pay as much or more for the crosses as thjey will for the pure colors. And I like to see all the different colors and patterns.

My prayers for the Stimpster, I sure miss him on this board.

Please pray for my cousin, he is ICU after having a bad reaction to his cancer treatment & may not make it through this. I am on my way Dallas in the morning.

You and the rest of the dancing ladies need to go to the hospital and sing that little number yall did at POOPS and dont forget the Soggy Bottom Girls either... I am sure Stimp wouldnt mind the eye candy and Lou would get a kick outta it too.. HA HA HA

Oh Happy day!!!

The free shed that Les pointed me to on Craigslist is now in my driveway on our trailer!

It was really, really sweaty work...it was miserably hot and humid and no wind...but Vern and I did it! We only needed help getting the roof on the trailer. Wouldn't ya know it, we had to get the shed, piece by piece out through a regular pedestrian gate, thru the front yard and into the street and then onto the trailer. I be one tired puppy! Poor Vern is whipped too, after having worked outside all day at work before going on the Great Shed Adventure!

So Les, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

for pointing the shed out to me in the first place! It wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you!

So now, we get to plan the next coop out with this as the base. Very little of the lumber in the shed needs to be replaced, and we will be able to get it all set up in no time with very little expense, but lots of work and sweat! WooHoo!!!

I have to hit the shower and then bed...but I was so excited and happy that I had to share my good news!

Quick post before heading off to bed.

Been thinking about Stimpy and praying for him and Lou. I know Lou must be having a really rough time.

to you as well. Being a military wife really sucks sometimes. The only recommendation is to keep busy, to make the time feel like it is going by faster. If you are going to do foster care that will keep you pretty busy as well.

Well of the last batch of chicks I received we lost 4 of the dark brahmas and one baby turkey. It is my fault, I forgot to give the chicks medicated feed and with the heat I think they just could not make it. Seems like all the rest are fine. Stuck the poults with the peachicks which has totally confused both. We maybe going through some identy crisis soon.

Not sure I am going to be able to make it to Fletcher after all. Need to go track down a friend since I have not heard from her in a while. It really bites when your friends get involved with people who are total lossers and there is nothing you can do about it.

Of course I have had my share in the past so I really do not have a whole lot to talk about.
