You have found a wonderful group of folks who either live in Oklahoma or wish they lived in Oklahoma

Sounds like we will get the chance to meet you at the next Blanchard Auction, if you will just come up to some of us at the table in the back of the room and introduce yourself. Some of us are likely to be wearing a navy, light blue or neon green t-shirt with a rooster on the front. Did you attend the Blanchard auction last Saturday night? I bought Naragansett turkey poults, pet carriers and a handful of those plastic swimming pools. I was the one who wanted them to help me find 4 of them without cracks, even though I only paid $1.25 for them.

I then bought 6 with cracks for 55 cents each.

Do you also hatch eggs and purchase poultry at places other than the Blanchard auction? If not, we may try get you addicted along with the rest of us

Tired is the best description. Needed to start driving some posts this evening but I think I will just go to bed instead.

Maybe the rain will make the ground easier to dig in tomorrow. Sometimes, the best thing to do is just go to bed and get up early and start over fresh.

Hi yall!!! I have a friend who has one of those big stainless steel cages like they have in reserch labs, the cages look to be about 20"x20" to me, they may be bigger, there is 12 cages all together I think, 4 high and 4 wide. he is asking $400 for it, may take a little less, if anyone is interested then email me at [email protected] and I can forward you the email and picture he sent me, could not figure out how to upload it on here or I would have,
Got my new horse "Rambo" today!!!!!
My Doms are doing great Micheal !!!!
Marybeth, I know this has been asked before but what do I worm my rabbits with and do you provide a vitamin and/or mineral for your rabbits?

I give my rabbits a shot of 1/4 to 1/2 cc of Ivermectin - under the skin behind the head (like where a mama cat picks up her kittens). You can also rub it on the inside of their ear. During hot weather like this, I put 1/4 tsp of rabbit/poultry electrolytes to 5 gallons of water. I don't give them a salt spool or extra minerals, since I feed regular rabbit pellets and very little hay, so they are getting those things in the pellets.

evening friends and family

looks like I am home....at least I think I am...still gotta make one more big trip around the state and possible Texas...we need show goats and a few things from Miss Marybeth! gotta love that woman

got a good deluge this afternoon, hoping for more!

Cubans cockeral is doing great, no sign of infection and eating well, i think he'll be pretty spoiled when he goes home!

P&B - just member to save me some muscovies (especially a hen) some of them fawn runners....and maybe the extra blues...well you know me...I can't get bossed around!

I am doing another bird culling...we went through tonight and found some more excess (watch it with the comments) I mainly found it because i found that Mike has a few more birds that I want and well...I need to then so I can repopulate...I actually might have too many ducks...I ain't killin' them like I was...

on the note of killin'...I didn't but it died...lost my oldest snake while we were gone...snake-o my Mexican Milk went to the big herpitarium in the sky...he was a good guy

MJ hope we can get you drawed into our little web of chicken math!!
Hello everyone, I confess I was lazy today had a list full of things to do looked at them once and said to my kids "If they can't survive one day without me so be it." I changed waterers and Since my shoulder hurt I only added feed to the outdoor feeders as they became empty Thank goodness Cause it did actually rain for 45 min here. (much needed rain) the birds were dancing in it so thankful to not be overheating. I let it pass wrapped up my chores for the evening and Called it good. I know I shouldn't probably neglect my birds But they get more attention then my own children and we all just needed a little family time out. all and all it was a wonderful day. Hope everyone else's days were good.

Yes, I was at the last auction. I remember you. I sit in the front with Jack Cocoran. He is my neighbor and I hepl him with his chickens although he does most of it all by himself.
I will be out of town next week but I want to go to the Newcastle Auction on the 7th. There are often alot of bantams there. The 7th is my 16th anniversary though. I think my husband wants to go to the movies, but don't you think a chicken auction would be romantic?
