Hey all just thought I'd check in, been very crazy here the past two day's, went to the Doctors office today and found out Laura * I have a very bad case of some kind of throat virus and infection, my throat swelled up and I couldn't swallow so I hit the Dr's office this morning, he gave me antibiotic's after a negitive throat swab for Strep and refilled my Nexium script. I'll be good as new in a few day's but still not talking much, Ok Ok no comments from the peanut gallery LOL. I am still headed to work in the morning though can't get away this week, goofed off plenty last week.

Some of our folks checked out the price last year and all that I recall is that when checking the price, you need to clarify whether the quoted price is for a bagged chicken or just a processed chicken placed unwrapped in your ice chest.

Hey all. I'm sitting on the front porch watching the flood in my front yard. It is pouring here and I couldn't be happier. The temps have dropped about 15 degrees in the last 30 minutes. The lightning is really pretty, but the thunder is really loud. It is striking pretty close to the house and is kinda scary. Anyways, I got a nice surprise this morning when I got up. I was rushing through the house around 4:10 this morning and as I walked into the dining room, I saw a huge mess. The cats apparently wanted to hunt something last night. They knocked the mouse cage of the table and it was laying in my dining room floor. All eight mice were missing. I'm hoping that the cats caught several of them before they scattered. The cage for the mice ended up cracked. So now I have to buy a new cage and more mice. I hate the fact that the nearest pet store with live mice is 30 miles and 2 towns away. We did end up catching one mouse this evening. My male cat cornered it and we were able to catch it without a problem. So I at least have another week before I have to go get more. I ended up losing one hen this week. She was chasing a dragonfly and jumped into the stock tank to get it. She had drowned before I could get to her. I think I am gonna try to get some sleep. I'll try to check back in tomorrow.
