It was Rick Clovis. He did not doubt himself at all, he said that it was getting too big and too expensive and y'all had partnered with some other county and were doing four shows in the district, and only district 4-H members could show.

Sherri, at the Newcastle show we talked to Bo Garrett, and he said he was judging the Creek Nation show again the next weekend. I was completely surprised since we hadn't heard anything about it, so I called Rick.... well, you can tell from my previous post what he said

Yes Dandi, there was another show but I don't think it was advertised much. Our county didn't find out about it until last minute either.

I know the last show before this one there seemed to be problems brewing.

It's a great idea and obviously word of mouth really got out. (Advertising seems to always be lacking for their show.) I would like to think that BYC has really helped with that too.

It looks like there are a lot of 4-H kids out there that would really get involved with a statewide program.

I know theres still time left yet but this might be my first bad hatch I am on day 20 and only 1 hatch and 1 peep thats not typical for here. usually by day 21 I am cleaning out my bator. Not sure If I should leave them in there for the net lockdown phase the 29th or just toss em. none smelled bad last time I checked before lockdown all were just wiggling around in there little shells.

I think I would wait, you may of had a slight temp difference with the cooler weather. Just my thought but it don't count for much since I don't hatch like the rest of you guys!

What are you hatching this time?
