Even so, you would have thought they would have killed the biggest one for food.

I wonder what they are feeding the chickens that are left over, they can't get much food in that little cage.

If you're talking about Chupps, I'll be bringing several colors of silkies and showgirl silkies and a couple of young pairs of duckwing OEGBs. I always go as early as I can get there, get my birds checked in and don't stay very long. My friend is bringing various young OEGBs

A hen and chicks are one of the sweetest things! Most of my days are CRAZY- teaching JR High at a tough school. Pictures like these "make it all better".

I harvested my snake gourds today. Its supposed to freeze this weekend so figured I might as well. These are all off of one vine! It covered an area about 20x20 plus went vertical for about 40 feet! The longest straingt one was 5ft.8 in. The curly ones were on top of my loft and flight pen,the straight ones hung down inside!I planted the seeds in mid june. The stalk was almost an inch and a hlf thick.
Somew of the curly ones have some good "snake"poses!

I'm gluten allergic and have tried MANY recipes and never found one worth eating. Went to the store yesterday and betty crocker had a mix, I thought well what do I have to loose, they were amazing!!!!

Okla-do, what do you do w/ snake gourds?

The weather here is nice although a bit windy but hey it is Oklahoma. We get worried when the wind stops blowing.

It has been nice this week, despite the high winds on Monday. My chickens and critters benefitted from the "fruit of the wind" when an neighbor brought them over 30 gallons of pears that were blown off her trees on Monday.

Reading this put a smile on my face. It reminded me of when I was very young and some of the stories had pictures in the sentences instead of words. Thanks for the grin

Wayne I want to know what you do with the snake gourds too, I think I asked before but can't remember the answer.

P&B I have been missing you on the board lately!

I missed out on the fun & went to bed early last night.

You take pictures of them and bore your friends showing them off!
