Going tomorrow to see Banjoes birds,that should be fun!Sure do miss mine,hope they are okay. Well it's cleared off here and the wind has switched from the north so I guess the cold is coming!Sure hope the dang wind stops soon!
Can anyone give me the address for the swap meet in Tulsa that has some birds,I think it's on Admiral but not for sure.

The flea market is on both sides of the street. There are some trees in the back on the north side of the street. That's were I've set up to sell chickens. The flea market is just west of the Mingo traffic circle. Before I went I put an ad on Craig's List to say I would be there and then arranged via e-mail to bring birds folks had asked for. I was able to get reasonable prices for meat birds, too. A couple times I got to chat with a nice couple selling meat rabbits. Most of the people looking for chickens were there before 8:30 a.m.

I bot a big black roo Pocco had It lookd game'y ..An a few other's. Wen that big cage of game hen's was put up on the table it was a 3hole cage with 10 in each the guy went up to ten on thim so i backd of an thin he said i will take thim all..
I said wat !!! So if ther is some thing that you want you better bid on it you never no wat the other guy is thinking,,
Went back to the city sun an didnt get in til after dark..Seen P.B an her boy ther it was a slow day to manny saleing for this time of year..

Morning everyone, its been a very rough week around here battling pnumonia, I hope everyone is doing well as to be expected. Had some chicks who kept pooping blood couldn't for the life of me figure out why. Till I sat down and observed them for hours Pulling every last one I saw poop blood out. ends up it was every chick i got from auctions. who prefered the wood chips over there feed. So now there back on burlap sacks. and the blood is clearing up.
I am half tempted to find a new bedding that absorbs smell but isn't as dangerous. Muesky suggested shredded paper then add chips to that later. I would prefer not to use paper as I brood in my office and I don't want it to smell to bad, Anyone have any suggestions? Typically i use burlap sacks for 3-5 days then pull the bags and run them on chips and hasn't been a problem for me thus far. But these guys pick chips over feed.
