I teach Jr. High art and I see every 7th grade boy absolutely "loose their mind" from 12 to 13!
I so appreciate all of you foster parents! I see so many childern that need love and consistencty in their lives and it kills me that I barely have time to call their name in class.

And I so appreciate what you do! I could never put up with that age all day long! I do speech therapy with 1st and 2nd graders and by the end of 2nd, their sweetness is wearing off and I'm ready to pass them on. However, the 10 year old we have now may be our easiest foster placement yet. Ten year old girls are cool, but then so is my 10 year old boy.

I thought this one was very weak, and I probably wouldn't have noticed it at all except I was sitting at the computer with nothing but quiet going on. I felt a slight wiggle of the floors and the stained glass piece I have hanging in my office window wobbled and gently knocked against the window pane for a bit. I looked outside and noticed a little rain squall had come through, so I thought it was the wind (although no wind has ever made anything inside my house wobble...maybe I should think about insulating a bit better this winter...). That's my story.

Too late. My DH just built runs to make coop bigger and I told him, "you know I'm just gonna get more chickens?" and he said, "yes, I know"

Your spouse sounds like mine - just shakes his head and decides where the next pen will be built.

Hi Elwood! - have been thinking about you and hoping you are doing well!

Dreamcatcher, Iv'e never heard them called Jack russel terrorists. It fits. Our next dorr neighbors have one and he is a mess. He leaves me Poop presents in the grass by the back door. We can't say much because our dog pees on the corner of their house!

I missed the earthquake, I was shopping!, when I got home there were pictures on the wall hanging crooked.
Dh was in the yard and said the dog felt it first and started prancing. Then all the chickens started fussing.
