Okay, the ones that lay flat are called the perlins, the others are the rafters. I wish we had a moisture barrier under our metal. We have blow in insulation ,so far it hasn't gotten soaked even tho we keep haveing leaks! The water is mostly running down the rafters from the top.I would like metal on our new place but I sure hope I can find better installers than we had here. Ours was one of the first in the area and they just didn't know how to do it.
I made a great pigeon trade today. Traded all my parlor rollers off. Told the guy I would trade bird for bird he said okay. Boy did I get the good end of the deal. He even wanted to pay me some boot but I just couldn't take it from him. I got a pair of Hungariun Giant House pigeons, two pair of Kormoners, three Russian tumblers, and a pair of Tangorans! At least $150 worth of birds and I was only asking $48 for mine to start with!
