Cammie, yeah, I decided to sell the Porcelains because it wasn't worth keeping a whole 'nother pen of birds for one gene

- the only difference between the Porcelains and the Milles is the "Lav" (lavender) gene.
I have 13 pens and 1 incubator to take care of every day, and it was just getting to be too much, especially if we move to a place with less land!

I'm guessing you won't be showing off anymore knifes!

That did remind me of three things, though.... well, actually four

Are you still coming to Blue this Tuesday?
Did you get the Mille Fluer d'Uccle eggs yet?
I had just ordered a ton of all different sizes of those free boxes for shipping from the P.O., but now that I'm thinning down my birds I won't have so many eggs to ship. So, if you would like some for your egg shipping, I could bring them to Blue.
And, for the grand finale....... all the Spitzhauben eggs you gave me except for one is developing absolutely perfectly! You should see the veins in those things!

If she doesn't come then I have no way to pick them right now.

I downsized then I upsized and now I am about to "capsize"
I do plan on sellling some more hens though, mostly crosses and the Andalusians.

I'm glad most of the spitz eggs are developing. You'll really like the chicks. I may bring some spitz chicks to the Blue acution, too ... unless it's too cold.

Monty, yes my monstrous hands sure make that piece of hail look tiny.

As far as scars, I've gotta come up with a good story for this one. The actual story is way too stupid. *ha* At Atwoods they give away money every quarter to people who go with no accidents; they put all the names together and draw one. My coworkers were glad to loose the competition. *haha*

Carla, with the way those people went on about how well they were wrapped, I just knew they were going to say they ordered them to eat!

And we too were standing outside when the storm came, guess its an Okie thing.

Actually, Clark had decided to run home from work and spread fertilizer before it rained. I've never seen a man work so fast.

Grace, I wish I could have them! Maybe I can talk my mom into buying them, porcelains were her favorite. Its amazing that one little gene can make such a big difference!

I hope Okiechick's town didn't suffer tornado damage. They lost their high school to a fire in the big ice storm.

Thought I'd post this for Monty, sorry if it groses out anybody. THIS is a cool scar:

I edited it out of the other picture. *ha* I burned it when I was a year old, and ended up having a pretty major surgery when I was about 11 or 12. I was very blessed with the whole thing; the surgery fixed the limitations, and no one can even tell unless I show them my palm.

p.s. The tornado didn't hit Jones (where Okie Lives) it was pretty close though.

That is a nice scar but what is that other scar on your finger, it looks gold?

We be fine, we were in the fraidy hole only a short time, quite the picture,along side 2 babies and 4 adults and 2 dogs.were rotten to the core pumpkins and petrified frogs ! It touched down just east of us and not for long.......... first time in the hole for me and hopefully the last !
