Buckguy, sorry the surgery has left you sore. But hopefully the long term pain will be gone now. Glad you made it through.

Kaacres, hope the feeders and waterers were what you were expecting. I finally looked at your avatar, Fred's a pretty boy! Glad he's ok, hope his bum comes back to him soon. *ha*

Well, I made it to the Cement auction tonight. It was hard at first, to see all my babies go. I was only expecting to get about $50 for all my birds. And I ended up taking home $176!

And to top it off, CARLA (and her husband) bought me a bunny!!!

I thought they were joking when they said they'd bought it for me, and I laughed and went along with it. And when the auction was over Carla said 'Are you gonna come get your bunny?'

But I don't know a single thing about bunnies. Other than they're cute. *ha* And this one is a black Polish buck, so he will stay tiny.

I'm happy to see that you can still go to the Cement auctions & bid on something (bunnies). I love your new avatar! That's wonderful you really like him and even Clark loves it ... thats AWESOME!

We had fun at the aucton, but I don't know a thing about the capuchin pigeons I bought there!

I guess I need to read about them.

Carla, I am ready for the next auction, I want him to get a buddy.

How are the pigeons? I don't know a thing about them, but there's a great message board called Pigeon Talk They helped me when I found a dove one time. Now if I could just find a Bunny Board...

Grace, I took 4 grown bantams, a grown adult roo, the duck, 5 chicks, and the Brahma pair. Before they took their percentage, the total was $184! I couldn't believe it. I sat down and figured up how much I'd initally spent to buy all those birds, and it was... $28!!! Great profit.

This just really isn't my week. I burned my finger on a skillet today. *sigh* I'm going to walk my bunny, surely I can't get hurt doing that. *ha*

Oh by the way everybody ... I listed my hatching eggs for sale or swap ... anybody wanna swap????? I may be able to fit a few more eggs in the incubator

I'm back. Was out of commission for a while. My father passed away (it was expected) and family needs kept me busy.
Things should get back to normal. The boys are happily hatching silkies, so they will be selling them soon. Hopefully Carlton will get his Welsummers up to speed soon too.

Jimd, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. But congrats on the Silkie hatchings, I know that is always exciting.

Carla, I got the little bunny all settled in his clean and (slightly) new coop/hutch. He loves it! And when I put my hands in his cage he comes running to me.

He doesn't even mind the leash; he had a good walk until the neighbor cat showed up. I'm sending you a PM, by the way.
