Kids are gone for the night, so I have to get back to assembly work. Just wanted to let Poco Pollo know like Betsy, I had a Silkie roo recover. Same treatment except I did have to separate and I added vitamins/electrolytes powder to his water as well. I kept him inside in a large clear tote where I could see him and gently straightened him out when needed.

He's been fine for over 6mnths now.

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to keep my little guy comfortable, fed, and watered. I'll get the vitamins/electrolytes powder tomorrow. I think I've seen some at TS, or maybe it was Orschelyn's.

Most males suffer from hurt pride than they do from any injuries they received. Had a cubalaya stag get scalped from a fight picked with the wrong cock. He sulled up a few days. I separated him from the other birds, made sure he had food & water, he came back around and healed up. Even grew back most of the feathers on his head.

I may convince myself to brave the lines at Wal-Mart tomorrow. Maybe not. I was there a few days ago and witnessed two ladies fighting over a black sweater. It must have been the last one, and probably on sale, but still... fighting over a sweater? Surely nobody will be elbowing others aside to get a bottle of Poly-Vi-Sol.
