Wayne, glad you are happy with your "white Christmas." After the Christmas Eve ice storm and snow of 2009, I think most Okies will join me in saying we are grateful we didn't have a repeat of that this year.

Sounds like you got yourself a "keeper." I do too. Mine bought cattle panels last week to make me some more flight pens for the pheasants and peacocks.

It was raining pretty good last night when we went to bed and just a mist this morning. I know that we need the rain but I hate to deal with it because my pens get so muddy. You would think that I would do somethng about that but...........

If you come up with a good solution to avoid muddy pens, I hope you will tell the rest of us. I haven't come up with any good long term solutions myself, since mine can't be moved around to new grass every week or two.

You have found a wonderful group of folks who either live in Oklahoma or wish they lived in Oklahoma.

Disclaimer: Some folks on here are addicted to attending poultry auctions, hatching poultry, and otherwise acquiring poultry. Since addicts tend to be "enablers" we may try and assist you in acquiring the same addictions some of us already have.

So, what kind of poultry do you already have and what kind(s) are you wanting to acquire?
