After beating the head of the bolt three ways, severely fast and furiously got the bolt out of the front of the engine, was ready to commit the car to the grave. But ran out of daylight to finish the job. So in a few hours the car will be ready and robin will have wheels AGAIN.

We went to Pat Drew's auction located East of Harrah, which began at 5:30, where I bought some rabbit cages and live traps. We stopped at the "junk" auction next to King's feed on our way back to I40, which started at 6:30. There were some cold eggs inside the building, but since all the household garage sale kind of stuff outside had to sell before they began selling antique dishes and the cold eggs inside, we didn't stay. I would be curious to see what large brown eggs sell for at a "non-poultry" auction, since they usually sell really cheap at a poultry auction where they are in competition with hatching eggs and most folks at the auction already have "cold" eggs from their own hens.

We saw Carl and Stephanie and visited with them before the poultry auction began. The auction lasted about 30 - 45 minutes.

love the idea of hamsters providing the power to the engine. Sorry you had so much difficulty getting it fixed. Hope the experience doesn't put you in bed for the weekend.

Since I am not interested in bantams of any variety and there weren't any NNs for sale, I didn't see chickens I was interested in purchasing. I am to the point where my own pullets are going to be laying soon, so unless it is a NN hen or a pheasant, I don't want to find a place to keep any more birds.

I was delighted to get the rabbit cages. They are all about 30 x 30 x 18 and at least one of them has the baby saver wire around the bottom. I had to jump the bid up by $5 at a time in order to scare the other bidders off, but got them for $15 each and they seem to be in decent shape. I like to put a mama hen and her chicks in the rabbit cages that size so that they are together, but separate from the flock.

LOL !!!! Sorry OklaDoddleDoo!!!! I just couldn't resist that one, it is hilaious!!! And Oh soooo uuuuummm Monty!!! LOL
Hi P&B, How much you have to give for the traps? How big are they? I need some rabbit cages too!!! Oh ODD I am interested in those rabbits of yours, are they Checkered Giants? I am looking for some Giant Chinchilla Rabbits if anyone has them or knows of any. Lynn
