I would bet by the white ear lobes and yellow legs with the nice orange hackles and the points on the hacles I can see that that is a young Light Brown Leghorn cockrel.
Been working on cages and moving birds around. cold out, tired, Lynn

UUUUMMM Hi, My name um is umm Lynn! I am a roosteraholic!!! There I said it, how relieving to get it out in the open, it has been a real struggle for me today! Just when I was on the brink of going over the edge, was thinking of going to a poultry auction, what should I hear??? OOHHH But it was the crowing of my cell phone tone in my ear (while I was at the Hock Shop looking at videos of Chicken Little and Foghorn Leghorn!!!) and hark on the other end of the line but the voice of an angle,!!! Opon making arrangements to meet at the local Feed Store (to get chicken feed among other things) there appeared out of a ray of sunshine what but a pickup truck with BethinOklahoma and family inside, to my staggering surprise out jumps Beth without thought of life nor limb and inspite of the danger she enterviens upon my delima with nothing less than Three, count them three!!! Of the most beautiful of creatures to have feathers, none less than a Buff Orpington, a Beautiful BlueRed Frizzle Cochin, and a Hansome Welsumer roosters. Though shaking and drooling, with sniffles and hummility I acceppted the roosters to restore my standing in the Roosterholic Realm....... Bless you Beth and Family for I think I shall have surely parished had I gone much longer without attending to my rooster hording tendencies!!!! Yes I have been know to associate with other such Roosteraholics and Rooster Pedallers in my lifetime and I must say boys.... beware for I think Beth may have us beat when it comes to hawking roosters!!!!!! Monty, Teach, Chuck and others out there lurking, BE AFRAID!!!! Be very afraid for I think you may be on her list!!!! I bid you all good health and good tiding for now, your humble servant...... Lynn

Good evening everyone.

Thought I would let you know that I put Doc on an airplane back to Afghanistan this morning. I didn't want to do it. But you can imagine what my day has been like. I thought it would be easier today compared to 6 months ago. Boy was I wrong.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and new years!

I'm planning to bring several homemade wooden transport box to POOPS; two, three, and four hole (and one four compartment wooden mailing box--pretty nice though used). These aren't wonderful, but they aren't bad, and they'll be CHEAP. I've been using them to transport my own birds--some of you may have seen them at POOPS--but I'm switching to small cat carriers, as the wooden ones with several compartments are getting heavy. Robin has one of the three compartment ones--she can tell you about it if she wants to.

If anyone has any small cat carriers they don't want and would sell cheap--or trade, I could still use a few. Some of mine are larger than I reallly want, and will also be for sale.
