My uncle in Stroud has mentioned a goat sale at Chandler, don't know if this is it. He has bought and sold at Chandler. He never mentioned poultry at it.

As I heard someone say in church this morning, we hopefully won't get everything that was predicted earlier in the week - Oklahoma paid its dues last year. Your area of the state really paid dearly. Be careful, and stay safe and warm.

whats the min ?
Had a nice time at the auction last night. I should have bid on the folding cages but I think
a MaryBeth did so thats all good.
The girls both won two chickens each. Two thanks to Michael. AnnaBell said he had the nicest
little chicken in a small cage she should have bid on... A ton of roosters. My husband Chris
finally spoke to the byc group. I think AnnaBell's chickens are getting to him now..

I got a total of 4 of the folding cages. They are not very sturdy, so I will be adding additional crimps to the corners and will probably need to wire them to a t-post to keep them from falling over. They are really only designed for short term containment , but could be handy while moving birds around and while cleaning pens.

It was fun to talk to Chris and I enjoyed showing AnnaBell how to vent check a hen to see if she is laying. The tiny chicken that Michael sold for his neighbor was a Serama.

Looks like a new auction. Poultry and rabbits sell at 3:00 on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays - North of Chandler. That may be a more convenient for some of our BYC folks who are North of OKC. If anyone attends, please let us know what you think.

Afternoon all, I trust everybody's Sunday is going well. We are not getting any weather to speak of just a misting and not all that cold.

I wonder if those are white peacocks? The picture makes the one appear to be white. Wasn't someone on here wanting white peacocks awhile back?

Al, it is 35 degrees in OKC and although there are some white specks swirling around, it isn't cold enough for any of it to stick around. . . . for which I am grateful.
