They are hard to breed for perfect show type, but they came from the top spot breeder in the state. She lives only a few miles from me. Funny what you can find in your own back yard!lol

I like the English Spot rabbits. They are a good size for a meat rabbit. Interesting that your "neighbor" is one of the top breeders in the state. Small world

Yeah, I found them thru an ad on craigslist and she was so nice,we talked for a long time, she explained what was needed for showing and what to breed to what ,it was a very pleasant meeting. These are four and a half months old. She said the spots can breed at five. Hers are on the small side but I guess they would make good small meat rabbits.
Gee did we out last everyone else tonight! What ever happened to the younguns staying later than the older folks! Not to imply that you are older ,but we both seem to have seen more winters than a few on here!lol

Several of us were discussing those birds. I was informed they were some birds mike had picked up from Superior when they went out. I had never seen a Blue, Rosecombed, hen feathered, bird with spurs and am still curious to know what they were.

I am pretty sure those are the same birds I bought from Michael about a year ago. I sold them at Blanchard in September and I saw them back there another time. I can't say for sure they ever laid an egg in the ten months or so that I owned them.
The guy from Superior told Michael they were Rosecomb Blue Minorcas. They were bigger than the Andalusians I used to raise.

Maribeth I have several different breeds of hens that have spurs. Some of my Marans and Welsummers have spurs.

Hello Monty, how are you doing tonight? Got any snow yet. Its funny the weather just showed the southern border of Tn is getting 8 inches and the northern border is getting two! Kind of backwards to what you would think!

Kinda the same here the southeast got the most snow and several schools are closed there.
We had some nice pretty flakes that didn't stay around very longafter hitting the ground.
My favorite kind of snow.
They are saying we might get an inch or so here tomorrow while northern Ok may get five or six.
But it supposed to be much colder tomorrow and Tuesday.

I've got a lady here that has some black and blue Americannas that she is going to get rid of. I told her to let me know what she wants for them,if they are reasonable enough I figured I could bring them to poops for you guys to fight over!lol
