Glad to be here, it has been a long day & I am tired. HOpe I can stay awake long enough to make a few posts.

From my understanding Monty, they are bigger then Leghorns but have the same color pattern as the Brown Leghorn, they lay a really dark brown egg. I got a Welsummer Roo from BethinOklahoma. Have you seen him? What should I look for other than Yellow leggs, what would happen if cross the W roo with Brown Leghorn Hens other than sacrifice egg color? Thanks Monty, Lynn

Good luck finding good ones. Make sure they have yellow or near yellow legs.

Well you wouldn't compromise leg color because don't Leghorns have yellow legs? Anyway the coloring, especially in the neck is similar but not the same, the neck stripes are different. Plus by crossing you would get the white ear lobes of the leghorn in some and of course it would dilute the egg color.

Evening all............... watching Green bay whooop up on Atlanta, but the game is no longer competitive. So what's up tonight ??.
