Buckguy, are you going to sell anything at the Harrah auction? It sure was a great place to buy last time ... but prices were awfully low for sellers. I think maybe because it was a holiday weekend? I hope they have fans or air-conditioning and a better pa system this Saturday. Hey, are you still interested in some phoenix? Gosh, I remember Falls Creek .... over 30 years ago since I went. Oh, I feel old!

I sure wish I could go to the Harrah auction and our Oklahoma Chickenstock ... but I'd better just go to the Cement auction & hope to sell some of my birds to alleviate the overcrowding. It's going to be painful to decide what birds have to go.

well folks hope everyone is having a good evening, for all of you who will be making it to chickenstock I will see you there, I will be the one in the bright yellow BYC shirt, with my username on the back runnin around like a cazy chick, and for all of you who could not make it this go around we will sure miss ya'll not being there and hope that you will be able to make it next year, plans are to have it in early may, so maybe more okie bycers can make it> Congrats on your wedding countryroad, I wish you both the best in your new lives togather. Monty, make sure there's a note on the cage for the auctioneer to announce what breed they are ... you'll get more money for them that way! Also, remember the selling price ... We should learn from past experiences!

For a long time byc refused to let me log on with my summerwindspoultry id...grrrr. I changed internet providers..no more dialup..yeah! So thought id come start over with a fresh id lol.

I'll be at Harrah this Sat too. Not bringing much to sell but am hoping to pick up a few chicks. Lol that didnt sound quite right but YOU GUYS know what i mean!

I sure agree about the tag on the cage telling what it is. Thats been my biggest pet peeve with harrah auction..they are too sloppy at check in and seem to want to sell everything as *barnyard* if they dont know what it is at first glance sigh. Ive all but stopped selling there except for taking a few hatching eggs.

Now i gotta go back through a bunch of posts to find out what this chicken fest is

I got a disposable camera developed yesterday. There was a picture of me and my Buff Orp roo. From DECEMBER at the Shawnee show! I need to take pictures more often. *haha*

WHAT!? Chickenstock has been postponed?? As in, I might actually get to go!? Sorry for everyone else, but I can't say I'm too heartbroken.

How is everyone faring the weather? I got a little spooked, I started getting lots of phone calls asking if I was ok, and a few minutes later the wind came! My sister couldn't see to drive home, so she is here with me. Some trailer houses completely lost their roofs about a mile from me!

Hope everyone else is alright! :aww
