Morning all

Lots of sun shine this morning,all the puddles are gone. Still have a lite wind and some cooler.
The weather caused some trouble a couple of towns over..a broken leg and some cuts..and of course some mobile homes had damage
An RV place had a few tossed around.

Well the storms missed us by about 20 miles. It hit west of us near Madill and again north of us at Tushka. That was the really bad one. A lot of destruction and two confirmed deaths. A very sad time for those in that community.

well, fortunately we didnt have any damage done by the storms, but also no rain....LOTS of hard wing though....I woke up to 5 hatched blue brassy back babies, and 2 spangles pipped...

At work in the "Gee" last night, lots of wind, moderate amounts of rain (hard, but not for long). Gary said home (Henryetta) didn't get bad storms, but got a lot of slow rain. Woo Hooo we needed that. News talked about several areas w/ damage and even deaths

Well the storms you all had last night are almost here! Starting to get a few sprinkles,and it has already cooled down so maybe the front won't hit to much opposition. First night outside in the broody pen and of course the light goes out,luckyly they didn't pile up but sure look droopy this morning. May have to take back in as its supposed to be colder tomorrow.
Glad the storms missed you all but sad to here of the two deaths and all the destruction that did happen.

Beggs got a slew of rain - flooded pastures and MUD this morning - I had almost forgot what mud looked like! Fortunately no major damage in this area. Lightning storms always scare me after losing my favorite mare to lightning a few years ago

Hope everyone else survived the night, and prayers for rain for those needing it!

donnie- im pretty shure that selling colored baby chick is now ilegale they call it inhuman because when the chick grow out of it color they are abandud and the childrel no longer whant them you may need to cheack the LAWS ON THAT

Morning folks!!! I slept in this morning, then got up and having coffee, helped get the princess ready for school, filled the aquariums up, fed fish,inside dogs and took my meds, call butcher, getting ready to go pick up hog. Windy as heck here today and cold!!! Turned the heater on! Wayne you be careful today!!! Donnie those colored chicks remind me of when we were kids, always got some for Easter!!! Usually were Leghorn roos and ended up butchering them though!!! LOL Hey Wayne there is a guy on the internet that dies his pigeons, I think they are rollers and then he takes them around to public events and flies then, rents them out for parties and weddings!!!! I would guess he does it the same way Donnie does the chicks! Donnie will that work on any eggs??? Have a blessed day all, I gotta get busy today!!! Lynn

Morning everyone, I was witnesses to one wind event yesterday. Robin has the two blind silkie roos outside between the house and the barn, has some sheet metal on it to keep Sir Galahad out, when a gust of wind blew the metal off. One of the roos flew out of the run, hit the ground running, and scooted up underneath the back end of the barn which is off the ground. I had to get on my hands and knees to pull the little guy back out, and pop back in the run.
