Hello Teach and Doc! Where did you order from Teach? So do we need to be looking out for Cornish bantams for you now!

p&B saw some sandy Flemish ,8 weeks old for $75! And the same people had a black ,pedigreed buck for $250! Are they that high out your way?

Nope,I traded off all my parlors about a month ago!

Guess the clear skys didn't last, it's rainy and blowing again. Been twelve hours now since the tv,phone and Internet quit. That lighting bolt must have really melted things down!

Welcome! I am a Michigander living in Oklahoma. Folks here sure do help Oklahoma feel like home -South Michigan!

Went to get some eggs today and low and behold but whom should I meet but MJ! And small worlds of Small worlds but MJ and her husband lived in Atsugi Japan when I did over 18 years ago. Oh memories. Very excited to have met you guys.

We ended up with 3/4 inch rain and had 60 plus mph winds today.

Atwoods in Shawnee has baby chicks again.... bought 8 : a few more Polish and some little bluegray chicks with brown faces (?), two that are black and bright yellow pintos and a little brown baby with yellow legs and a blue colored chick that is marked like an australorp chick. Hubby just rolled his eyes and Red clambered up on a chair to stare at them.

Lincoln County Farm Center will have chicks in this week from Cackle Hatchery....didn't know what kinds yet.

Hope everyone who hasn't checked in did okay in the storms yesterday.

$75 is more than I paid for young pedigreef Fawn Flemish last summer in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. The only way a Flemish would be worth $250 is if it has placed several times at shows and has something about its body structure that you are looking for in your herd
