ok finally ... in for the night got all the new birds put up lol

so i brought home the following

several production barred rocks , which have barred nn cockerel for them here already
speckled sussex hens and a roo
buff wyandottes
silver laced wyandottes
golden laced wyandottes
blue wyandottes
brown leghorns
white leghorns
blue andalusians
golden lakenvelders
silver lakenvelders
2 production reds
2 EE
1 crazy white roo who is a sultan cross and wild as fire

Ok folks it's been a long one for me today so I am going to say goodnight. My wife just put on some silly chick flick on lifetime and well I can't deal with that right now, I am in a good mood LOL. Plus I am hooongry again so it's to the kitchen to load up on some serious snacks stacked so high you can't see over the plate, then off to my man cave where the TV is permantly set to cool Black & White westerns and the sheets and pillow are cool.

But

kidding season is fun, lol. Campus life can have me M-F and maybe part of some weekends....but I love the farm...it'll be hard enough leaving it.

i beileve the count was 41 , but i paid 150.00 for the entire lot and only 3 roos in the bunch , and only 6 of the hens are 1.5 years old and the rest were hatched in oct.
