Good morning everyone. Well I broke my own rule this year and paid a pretty price for it. An old man told me a few years ago that he doesnt plant until after april 15 no matter what and the last two years I have had to get that head start and planted early and of course we had late freezes and i got a little set back. So this year I told myself " Not until after the 15" but just 2 days early I couldnt help it and spent the 13th and 14th planting almost 300 tomato plants. Then wouldnt you know it the 15th brings 60 mph winds and I have no wind block. I have black plastic buckets around them for watering, heat absortion, and as a wind block but they were no match for the wind. I now have buckets blown all across our wheat field and lost quite a few plants. Luckily I still have about 900 to put out. On top of that my grandma left the garage door open and the dog went into where I have been keeping my Ameraucana chicks that I had just hatched and knocked over their tub and ate 19 out of 20. Talk about sad and angry.

Well at least you got 2 cool boy's to keep you company and entertained, Don't forget I met your wife and I thought she was nice, are you fibbing about her.

AL

That is part of her scheme....she did the same thing to me when we met....I thought she was sweet and al that and then things went fuzzy and I was married and she didn't like fishing anymore! She started giving orders about cleaning stuff up and that some of my habits were nasty!

I do have some neat kids...sometimes we lock the doors and move but they always find us

No wonder you have lumps on your head!

My granddaughter actually got in trouble for saying an egg comes from a chicken's butt. And I really think the teacher was afraid to ask where bacon and beef comes from. Teacher wanted the kids to know these things came from the store but my little sweetie changed her lesson plan. LOL Double LOL Ask her where milk comes from, her nana taught her that as she has watched Teva milk goats.

I volunteered to come up and talk to the kids about food production but the school didn't think that was proper.

Too funny!!!!!!!! My neighbor's 8th grade daughter called my partridge cochin rooster a "she" , and she lives in Choctaw.

the wife and myself paid a visit to a hardcore modern game bantam breeder in NW okla...my wife got a beautiful pair of white tailed buffs, and I got a good start on making spangled modern bantams, as well as a real nice birchen cockbird....want to thank monte watson for all his help and advice....
