Hey Wayne, no new piggies yet, it will be a while, just put the sow in with the boar this month so be about 4 months before we have any on the ground. The guilt that was due a few weeeks back only had one pig and it was stillborn so will try to breed her again in a few months and see how she does!!! I miss havin a bunch of little one but feed is so high I had to cut back!!! We can only eat so many!!! LOL Lynn

So...does anyone sell the bantam version of these beauties? orrrr.... is there a bantam cochin of that coloring???
There are a couple of adventurous cochin breeders working on BLRs but the color is a loooooooong way away. Also some working on creel colored, that is a little closer. Another couple are trying to get LF mille fleur, really hard since there are no buff columbian in LF. All of these projects make my Self-blue seem easy and mille fleur seem to be a piece of cake. some are working on barred buff. I've seem some pics of very nice roos but the barring on the hens seems to be very hard to breed.
Purists and alot of cochin show bird breeders are bothered by all the color experimentation.
She is a Splash Blue Laced Wyandotte. There are two of those and then the darker ones Are Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. Did I get that right Stephanie?

If you decide to go this Saturday morning let me know - I have a couple of roo chicks you might want to sell/trade there!
