I got them as chicks at last years POOPS. I ended up with 3 roos & 1 hen. He is mean & I will end up killing him & Lil'Sooner won't show him because he is mean.

You don't have to fill the stacked tires w/ dirt, you can fill w/ hay, straw, or leaves too. I'm filling w/ leaves. You are supose to get a lot more potatoes per plant, and they are supose to be easier to harvest. We'll see it is my first year.

I started with dirt to get the taters going but have been adding leafs/hay & dirt after that.

Same here

AWESOME Robin - it works - at least on the "cheer" front. I would think superglue might really work - at least for a while, if you wiped the spur down first and then could keep the roo from kicking off the little balls until the glue dries. (You know how cats snap their feet if you put a little tape on their paws? I wonder if a roos would notice his new spur accessories...?)

i'm gonna have to take a speed reading class to keep up lol
lost a rooster to a coon last night
have three live traps set but notta
need to find a good pup

Sorry you lost a roo! I hate it when that happens. I'm not any help on the dogs as you can see from my own dogs!
