We all end up dissappointing our moms...mine thinks I am the biggest redneck that ever walked...I tried telling her about Monty but she didn't listen...

All my city friends thought I was backwoods for having chickens. Until they started posting pictures on Facebook of the empty egg isles at the grocery stores...

Tons of people have been calling me for eating eggs, too. I tell them I have them, but they have to get here to pick them up - I had a couple walk 2 miles to my place today for two dozen eggs. I called DBF Jack and told him they were coming, so he came over and gave them a ride back to their place so they didn't have to walk a round trip.

My car is still in the garage - I spent the afternoon shoveling the driveway but I didn't get it all done - I am really, really beat.

Kathy - here at my place in Tulsa we got 14" Tuesday and another 4" yesterday - but I swear the snow on my driveway is 2 and a half feet deep.

I tried looking through the empty milk racks to catch a glimpse of their cow, but they must have gotten her out before the storm.
