Osama bin Laden had been rendered significantly incapable of action by pressure from the US military over the past 8 years. Others within Alquida have taken leadership roles in Afganistan/Pakistan. Bin Laden was more a spiritual leader...tremendous boost for our side!! And to have his body and DNA on file for comparison reduces rebuttal.

welcome RD:D. This is a great site that you can learn about chickens on. The peeps are very friendly also.

My mother grew up in Muldrow and my aunt has just moved back to that area. Maybe I too will someday!

Wow, what a small world. I grew up at Maple, about 4.5 miles north of Muldrow and graduated from Muldrow in 1980. If you don't mind my asking, what is your mother's name and possibly your aunt? I might know them.

As a loyal Retired Army CSM for 25 yrs and having served in the gulf war, this is a fine day indeed, but my strong opinions and language on this subject cannot be conveyed here on our forum. God Bless America !!!!

Their maiden name was Hodges. They moved to OKC backin the 50's. My grandmothers last name was Curl. I do have some 2nd and 3rd cousins that still live there. My moms uncle used to run a little store in Long, OK. Maybe my bro NoCityboy can remember the nameof that spot in the road on hwy 64B.

Did you know a Donna Sutherland from Muldrow?

Oh, I had my first Mountain Dew from the old grocery store in Nicut.

Was the name of the store W W Grocery?

I will have to ask my Mom if she knows the Hodges. I will be surprised if she doesn't. I do know some of the Sutherlands from Muldrow. Not sure if Donna is one of them.

I am afraid that because ole Bin is gone that people will raise a big ole stink and want us to pull out now. GW said that this would be a long war.

there are not many Hodges left down there these days. They are mostly Curls and Londons I believe.
