I was thinking the same thing, when I got on tonight I was expecting at least one new page of post's.

boy, Im sore today...moving all my pens yesterday was rough on me...they weigh around 150 and I had 5 to load in my truck adn then unload and move around to get them sittin flat adn situated...

paint and calico are both silkie colors, not recognized I believe but colors you can find...calico is like a splash with red tossed in I believe, paint is a white bird with black splashes in them...beth may correct me but I believe thats right

Im thinking he *may* be a calico..Since hes blue splash with splashes of red too?! Its pretty...but i dont think there is a calico gene...so if hes calico im sure its just some odd ball color, I suppose its what happens when you let them breed with just whomever....which im assuming thats what feed store chickens do. Who knows...I thought it was neat any-hoo. Hes the one im trying to find a home for. sweet lil guy! Maybe Betsy will know.
