You and NanaKat are on a roll with the one liners tonight

It's the price I pay for eating dinner with Gerald and Al. They are a bad influence.

What color are guinea eggs....are they lightly spotted on tan shells?

donnie - what a wonderful graduation gift!

NanaKat - guinea eggs come in several different colors - but their distinguishing feature is the shape - rather pointed on one end so that they remind me of a triangle with the egg sack at the broad end. To the best of my eyesight, I only have two different colors of guineas - pearl and lavendar - but the eggs vary in color from light cream with no spots to tan with small spots. They are about the size of a bantam egg.

i thought so too myself ... these birds are from what him and his dad have raised for well over 20 years , got some , toppy , albany , spangled and i cant remember what all he said

I am in the market for an interesting colored toppy game hen at poops...if anyone has one they dont want an arm and leg for

Thank you for the ID. Do these look like standards? At 10 weeks of age, they are really small next to the Barred Rocks that are the same age. Next to the Australorps, maybe 1/4 smaller.....Will they get bigger?

These birds... Buckguy and Greybear...

I've never seen golden hamburgs in bantam, only the silvers. Yours are likely small because they originated from a hatchery. Exhibition hamburgs are large birds, probably around the 6 lbs mark cockside.

Doc those fancy cat litter boxes, Fresh Step maybe?, that have the lid where only half of it opens up work well for birds. Just cut off the hinged part.
