I don't know. I don't do banties and my doc won't let me eat Hamburgers.

Sorry...thought you helped identify the three birds in my pen earlier this week..... now to figure out who that was.....

I agree with Greybear. Gold Spangled Hamburgs.

Thank you for the ID. Do these look like standards? At 10 weeks of age, they are really small next to the Barred Rocks that are the same age. Next to the Australorps, maybe 1/4 smaller.....Will they get bigger?

These birds... Buckguy and Greybear...

NaNaKat - I went with the Sprint "Moment" when I upgraded last year and have mixed reviews for it. One son has the Samsung Epic and another has the HTE Evo - both of which are "supposedly" 4G. Their phones do a much better job of surfing the internet, but we do pay an extra $10 per month per phone for the enhanced data service capability. I say "supposedly" 4G because I am not certain that OKC even has the 4G capability at this time. It is being rolled out in the largest cities of the USA first.

By the way - another beekeeper looked at the bees bearded on the cinderblock and she also gave the opinion that it is a small swarm, rather than bees trying to clean up spilled honey from the hive body that was on the cinderblocks. I put a nuc box with drawn comb in it next to the bees and am hoping that they will either adopt it as their new home so they can be easily relocated - or abandon the area totally so they are out of the way of the plumber.

Hey, Doc Henry, are you coming to POOPS? A) I would like to meet Teach's little brother an B) I would like to pick your brain about using your Verizon phone for a hotspot. I would love to drop this Hughesnet.

What color are guinea eggs....are they lightly spotted on tan shells?

donnie - what a wonderful graduation gift!

NanaKat - guinea eggs come in several different colors - but their distinguishing feature is the shape - rather pointed on one end so that they remind me of a triangle with the egg sack at the broad end. To the best of my eyesight, I only have two different colors of guineas - pearl and lavendar - but the eggs vary in color from light cream with no spots to tan with small spots. They are about the size of a bantam egg.
