Kassaundra that actually kicked off a spark in this old brain about rotation of grazing. Japanese Millet is a very fast growing plant and a big enough area will sustain birds throughout the summer with regular watering. It looks like Johnson grass or haygrazer and should be treated the same during times of drought.

Millet can also be harmful to horses, especially the Japanese Millet so keep them out of it.

Mr. Cornish man,

I will need a hook up on a white bantam show cornish as soon as I figure out what sex I have now. Think you will be able to help Lil'Sooner out?

I already have it in the works for you, I have 2 guy's who said they should have something for me this summer. They both show white Cornish bantams and do very well on the national level. So I got our little Maddy all set-up.

I'm wanting to grow some millet/sorgum, don't know if it will happen this growing season or not thought. Ground into flour makes a great GF flour.

Good evening folks. I had a nice, lazy Mother's Day Sunday. DH let me sleep in until 9:00, then I got up and got ready for church. After church, the family took me to eat Chinese and then we went shopping. They got me a few presents. After we got home, I sat at the table and painted sun catchers with the kids until dinnertime. DH cooked a lovely dinner. Afterwards, I went out and brushed the horse. I've been doing it every evening. I was quite proud tonight. I didn't have to tie her up. She stood still the entire time. She did realize that the key to her happiness is in my left pocket and kept nuzzling it. I usually have treats there, but today I'm wearing shorts without pockets. I couldn't help but laugh. She has come a long way from the skittish filly that we received a few months ago. She has learned to trust me almost completely.

So what did everyone else do on this glorious day?

Wonderful. I need to take more picture to see if someone can help me figure out what we have. There is no sign of a comb but have no idea what I should be looking for with this breed.

I haven't got them hatched yet. I ran into trouble & didn't get them in the bator right away (might pay for it in hatchability) They should hatch this thursday.

Did you get any hatched??
