My mom once got poison ivy in her throat by breathing smoke from a fire where it was burning in with some other brush. She was miserable.

One of our feeders is just outside our big kitchen window. Our cats sit for hours watching and being very entertained. Have you ever heard a cat charm a bird. My cat, Taylor, made little warbleing sounds when he saw birds. Course he was always inside and they were out so I don't know if it really works. Our cats now don't do that.
We had to put a large plastic collar that dogs wear after surgery around the post under our bluebird house a couple of years ago because our Himilian/Calico, Shuggy, could climb up and turn the door latch and help herself. before we found that solutuin we called that birdhouse the "Shuggy Snack Dispenser". She was quitye a profiscent hunter. We kept a Kill Count of all the carnage she left us on the back porch. She now is retired indoors.
Last Friday I go a real treat when a couple of woodpeckers came to the kitchen window feeder.
If my bones and joints can predict the weather we are in for a mess. I hurt so bad I think I will go to bed where a heating pad is waiting already warmed up. Night for now all.
